Access Health CT launches online avatar

HARTFORD, Conn. (WTNH) — If you need help with open enrollment you’re not alone.  Access Health CT has just launched an online avatar to help you navigate the process. The virtual assistant is named “Tina” and offers guidance and answers to consumer questions on the Access Health CT website.  The purpose of the avatar is to make it easier to compare different plans.

“During the 2014 open enrollment, 45 percent of qualified health plan enrollees and 40 percent of Medicaid enrollees enrolled by themselves online,” said Jim Wadleigh, Acting CEO of Access Health CT. “While the website functioned well for those consumers, our goal during the 2015 open enrollment cycle is to make the process even easier, and encourage even more consumers to use the online system.”

Open enrollment began on November 15, 2014 and continues through February 15, 2015.
