New Haven police investigating fatal shooting

NEW HAVEN, Conn. (WTNH) — New Haven police are investigating the fatal shooting of a 21-year-old man on Warwick Street Tuesday afternoon.

Just after 2:00 p.m., officers responded to 61 Warwick Street on a report that someone had been shot. Upon arrival, police located 21-year-old Isaih Conyers, of New Haven, suffering from a gunshot wound.

Conyers was transported to Yale-New Haven Hospital. He was pronounced dead on arrival.

Police do not have a suspect yet, and are unaware of any possible vehicles involved in the crime.

Detectives are asking anyone who may have witnessed the shooting or have useful information related to the shooting to call New Haven police at 203-946-6304.
