Enfield Police searching for armed robbery suspect

ENFIELD, Conn. (WTNH) — Enfield Police are looking for a man who robbed a Mobil gas station at knife-point early Saturday morning. According to police, the armed robbery happened at the Mobil on King Street just before 1:45 am.

Police say surveillance cameras show a dark-colored truck with white graphics on the side entering the gas station parking lot.

The man entered the store and approached the cashier. Officials say the man then threatened the cashier with a knife and demanded money from the cash register.

Surveillance shows the suspect emptying out the cash register and fleeing the scene with an unknown amount of money.

Police describe the suspect as a white male, in his late forties to early fifties. They say he was wearing a dark knit hat, a tan heavy winter coat and jeans.

Officials continue to investigate the incident.
