Drunk Man Arrested Going 122 mph

Killingly, Conn. (WTNH) – Connecticut State Police have arrested a Massachusetts man for DWI after he was pulled over going 122 mph.

State Police say at 2:45 a.m. Sunday, a car traveling 95 mph passed a trooper conducting speed enforcement on I-395 in Killingly. The vehicle then passed a second trooper at a traffic stop at exit 92. Police say the vehicle then passed several vehicles on the right and at that time was clocked going 122 mph.

The driver, identified as 39-year-old Matthew Deyette of Shrewsbury, Mass., was eventually pulled over north of exit 94. Deyette is charged with DWI and reckless driving. He was released on a $500 cash bond.
