Stage 8 Presents: Tanya Anisimova

(WTNH)– Tanya Anisimova, cellist, composer, arranger, vocalist, and painter, performs on Stage 8.

Born in Russia, lives in the USA for more than a half of her life. Studied cello, composition, conducting, and chamber music at Yale, BU, Moscow Conservatory. She spent a half of her life in school. She recently performed at Carnegie Hall in NYC, National Gallery and National Cathedral in D.C. Performed internationally in Italy, at Teatro Maggio Musicale in Florence, in Iceland, at Salurinn Hall in Reykjavik, in Australia, at Port Fairy Festival, in Mexico, at Morelia Festival, in Canada, at Banff Festival, and in Hungary, at Bela Bartok Festival.

Anisimova will be playing in New Orleans on December 6th as a soloist in Shostakovich Cello Concerto, in Russia next spring and performing in Yogaville for the New Year’s Eve, which is a tradition for many years.
