Folks turn out for “Holiday on Main Street”

MIDDLETOWN, Conn. (WTNH)– Rainy weather didn’t stop people from coming out in Middletown to take part in the 29th annual “Holiday on Main Street” Saturday.

Events, including pictures with Santa, a craft fair, plenty of food, and collections for charity, were scheduled all day for the entire family.

“The purpose of it is to bring people to downtown Middletown and showcase what we have to offer down here,” said Rich Greco, co-chair of Holiday on Main Street.

If you missed Saturday’s festivities, there’s another chance to take part in it all. “Holiday on Main Street” will also take place the next two Saturdays as well.
