Man stabbed, killed in Hartford homicide

HARTFORD, Conn. (WTNH)– Hartford police are investigating a homicide that occurred Saturday morning, the city’s 16th homicide of 2014.

Police say 34-year-old Jonathan Cox, of Hartford, was stabbed several times at 164 Benton Street around 10 o’clock.

According to police, Cox was pronounced dead at Hartford Hospital.

Major crimes and homicide squads are on the scene investigating, police say.

Police have not made any arrests at this time. It is an ongoing investigation.
