Medical Examiner reveals cause of baby death

NEW BRITAIN, Conn. (WTNH)– The Medical Examiner’s Office has just released the cause of death in the case of a 3-week-old baby girl in New Britain.

Officials say Jaleah Quintero died of blunt force trauma to the head. The baby died last week.

Details of just how she was injured are still unclear but a friend of her mother’s Janell Campbell is now charged with second degree manslaughter.

Campbell was in court Tuesday.

Jaleah’s mother and grandmother said what they want now is justice for the little girl.
