Bristol Police Arrest Man for firing shots

Bristol, Conn. (WTNH) – Bristol Police have arrested a man after he fired a gun early this morning. Police say they were called to the west end at 12:54 a.m. on the report of shots fired.

Police say they determined that Shamound Daley of New Britain had fired the shots. Daley is charged with carrying a dangerous weapon, carrying a firearm under the influence of alcohol or drugs, stealing a firearm, interfering with a police officer and larceny fourth degree.

Daley is being held on $75,000 bond pending a court appearance.
