Reward offered for West Hartford bank robbery suspect

WEST HARTFORD, Conn. (WTNH)– West Hartford police are looking for a suspect who they say robbed a bank Friday.

Police say a man walked into the Webster Bank at 75 Park Road and handed a teller a note. The suspect escaped with an undetermined amount of cash, according to police.

The suspect is described as a thin black man, around 6’0″ tall and 30-years old, with a mustache. Police say he was wearing a light-blue University of North Carolina baseball hat with a black brim, and a black coat with a brown hoodie underneath.

A reward is being offered for information leading to the suspect’s arrest. Anyone with information is asked to call West Hartford police at (860) 523-5203.
