EAST WINDSOR, Conn. (WTNH) — Local and state officials responded to a drug overdose that led to busting a meth lab on Saturday night.
East Windsor police arrested James Driscoll, 57, of East Windsor, after they found a meth lab in his home on Meadowview Drive, according to police.
The original 911 call for a possible drug overdose came in just before 7 pm. East Windsor Police evacuated the home when they found the meth lab.
Connecticut Department of Energy and Environmental Protection, State Police, the Drug Enforcement Agency, and the Warehouse Point Fire Department were also called to the scene.
Many chemicals and lab equipment were confiscated from the home and are being tested. Police also confiscated methamphetamine and suspected cocaine.
Driscoll is being charged with Operating a Drug Factory and could face more charges once the investigation is completed, police say.
He is being held on $100,000 bond. Driscoll will be in Enfield Superior Court on Monday.
