18 year-old arrested in connection to homicide in July

EAST HARTFORD, Conn (WTNH) — An investigation into the July murder of Michael Mikulske has resulted in East Hartford Police arresting an 18 year-old.

Police have been investigating the whereabouts a Hartford resident, Larry Williams, who had an active arrest warrant issued in relation to the death of Mikulske. In the homicide, Mikulske was shot three times in the driveway of 1268 Main St, East Hartford at approximately 11:30 PM.

On Monday, the East Hartford Police Department developed information as to where Larry Williams was located. East Hartford Police Department Criminal Investigation Bureau and Vice Intelligence Narcotics members with assistance from the Hartford Police Department Emergency Response Team served the homicide arrest warrant at 282 Barbour St, Hartford. The coordinated effort and planning between the East Hartford Police Department and several Hartford Police Department divisions led to the successful arrest of Larry Williams inside of his apartment.

Charges to Williams include; Murder, Criminal Attempt to Commit Assault in the 1st Degree, Criminal Use of a Firearm, Reckless Endangerment in the 1st Degree and Threatening 2nd.
