HARTFORD, Conn. (WTNH)– Hartford police are investigating a shooting that happened overnight Monday.
Police say one person was shot around 1 a.m. at the West Indian Social Club. The victim was shot in the chest and suffered lacerations to the head. The victim is listed in critical but stable condition at Saint Francis Hospital and is expected to survive the shooting.

At this time, police are not identifying the victim. Hartford police department’s major crime division is investigating the incident.
