No injuries in Bethel house fire

No one was hurt as fire crews battled this fire at a home on Blackman Avenue in Bethel Monday afternoon (WTNH / Report-It - HeyMom)

BETHEL, Conn. (WTNH) — No one was hurt as Bethel fire crews worked to put out a house fire on Blackman Avenue Monday afternoon.

The fire was around 12:15 p.m. A News 8 Report-It contributor told us that the fire spread quickly through the historic home.

Bethel police and fire officials confirmed that no one was home at the time of the blaze. No injuries were reported. Firefighters have started their investigation into what may have caused the fire. Officials said they are not considering the fire as suspicious.
