BRIDGEPORT, Conn. (WTNH) — Bridgeport police have made an arrest in connection with a stabbing incident on a Route 8 exit ramp on December 18th.
Police have arrested 36-year-old Anthony Espinal, charging him with murder. Espinal is accused of stabbing 26-year-old Bryant Kelly of Bridgeport after an argument on the Exit 5 southbound ramp.

The Office of The Chief States Medical Examiner conducted a postmortem examination of Kelly to confirm the cause of death to be stab wounds. State Police Western District Major Crime Squad Detectives conducted the criminal investigation and interviewed witnesses.
Detectives were able to collect enough evidence and witness reports to apply for an arrest warrant for Espinal, which was quickly approved by a judge at Bridgeport Superior Court. State Police caught up with Espinal, and took him into custody without incident. He was taken to Troop G for processing.
Espinal is being held on $250,000 bond. He is scheduled to appear in Bridgeport Superior Court on Wednesday.
