Busy at Bradley, but flights flying on time

WINDSOR LOCKS, Conn. (WTNH)– It is wall-to-wall and wing-to-wing at Bradley international Airport Tuesday night.

For the most part, air traffic is running on time; there are only a handful of delays, most of them out of New York, New Jersey and Baltimore. The lines are thick with people as the security area is swollen past capacity, so it is important to show up early to catch your flight on time.

“It’s absolutely crazy, but I expected it,” said Brian Amenta of Torrington.

“Did you get here early?” we asked.

“Yes, her plane doesn’t leave for a couple of hours so we anticipated that,” said Amenta. “If you can’t beat it then join it.”

So far there’s only one cancellation Tuesday night, that plane coming from Philadelphia.

Be sure to check your flight status online before you leave for the airport and leave lots of extra time.
