Arrest made in Hamden burglary

HAMDEN, Conn. (WTNH)– Hamden police have made an arrest in a 2008 burglary.

Police say 32-year-old Kevin Santiago broke in to a home on Blue Trail in July 2008. He was arrested Monday after a warrant was issued for his arrest. According to police, Santiago took $6,500 worth of items from that home.

Santiago is charged with third-degree burglary, conspiracy to commit third-degree burglary, second-degree larceny, and conspiracy to commit second-degree larceny. He is being held on $50,000 bond and is scheduled to appear in Meriden Superior Court on Jan. 5.
