Stamford police need help finding strong-arm robbery suspects

STAMFORD, Conn. (WTNH)– Stamford police are looking for the suspects of a strong-arm robbery Sunday night. Police say the robbery occurred at the Subway at 1126 East Main Street around 9:05 p.m.

Surveillance video shows one male suspect jump a gate behind the counter, beat the clerk, and attempt to get in the register. According to police, he was unable to get in the register and all three suspects fled east down East Main Street. The two other males acted as lookouts, police say.

The clerk was taken to Stamford Hospital where he was treated for cuts and a concussion, according to police.
