State Police investigating fatal crash in Union

UNION, Conn. (WTNH) — State Police are investigating what may have caused a fatal crash on Route 190 in Union Monday night.

The accident occurred on Route 190 near Interstate 84. Troopers said a car went down an embankment. The driver did not survive the crash.

State Police have not yet released the identity of the driver, or why the car left the roadway. They are still conducting their investigation.
