Chick-Fil-A warning customers about possible data breach

WALLINGFORD, Conn. (WTNH)–Chick-Fil-A is now warning customers about a possible data breach.

The fast food chain said they found some unusual activity involving payment cards at a few restaurants.

“It’s a little shocking actually. I hope it doesn’t happen to us,” said customer Tony Giacco.

Jenette Gonzalez said, “It worried me because we just actually used the credit card there.”

“You don’t want to hear that possibly your information is going to get stolen,” said Laura Helms. “I have been hearing about it more and more, but it’s so much more convenient to pay with your card than to take cash out all the time.”

The company never said when it happened or how many people could be impacted. They said they’re working with law enforcement and cyber security experts to look into what happened.

Customers may call 855-398-6439 for additional support or information. (Our call center will be closed for the New Year’s holiday and will reopen beginning Friday January 2.)
