Milford, CT- (WTNH) It’s a new year and a new start. It’s time to make a clean slate and lockdown your New Year’s resolution. Stacy Piropatosaid, “I am hoping to lockdown one.”

The common theme for those we talked is getting fit.  Arlene Deblock said, “I think to lose a little weight.” John Piropato added, “to get in better shape and that’s a continuous goal, ongoing goal is to workout and stay in shape.” Tina Greene said, “to lose weight and be more positive.” Jeff Greene, “to lose weight and to not let people aggravate me so much.”

Those who didn’t nail their goal last year are giving it another shot. Bob Costello said this year he is sticking to his resolution, “to stop smoking because everybody should.” Len Deblock,”last year was to get in better shape physically. This year? Oh, that’s a continuous goal.” Some folks planning on taking time out to smell the roses. Fraun Sanders said, “have fun and retire at the age of 55.” Len Deblock said,  “try and relax a little more. We are retired. just travel a bit, see the rest of the country we haven’t seen.”

For some people the New Year is bringing out a positive vibe. Len Deblock said, “I want to see people be more loving to each other and caring for each other.” Experts say keep the list short and make sure each resolution has a clear goal and make your resolutions positive.
