Hunt for Armed Robber in Red Gloves

FRANKLIN, Conn. (WTNH) – State Police are now investigating after several armed robberies in the eastern portion of the state.

On January 3rd a suspect carrying a silver and black colored handgun robbed a Mobile Mart on Route 32 in Franklin.  The person ran away to a car waiting for them.  Police say the suspect and their accomplice are the same people responsible for an armed robbery at a 7-Eleven in Marlborough on the same day. They say the images below are of the man they are looking for.

State Police also believe this duo were involved in two armed robberies in Willimantic that happened on New Year’s Day.

One element that sticks out is that the suspect has been wearing red gloves during the robberies. Cops say they are looking for a stocky Hispanic man standing between 5’4″ to 5’7″ tall. His accomplice is described as a heavyset white man.
