DANBURY, Conn. (WTNH)– Two BRAVO reality TV Stars, who were happy to showcase their lavish lifestyles, now will be living behind bars.
One of New Jersey’s reality TV stars from ‘The Real Housewives’ is about to exchange her designer threads for prison garb. Teresa Giudice is scheduled to report to federal prison Monday morning to begin serving a 15-month sentence for bankruptcy fraud. Guidice and her husband Joe admitted to taking criminal shortcuts to live the high life on cable television.

The couple plead guilty to conspiracy wire fraud, bankruptcy fraud, mail fraud and submitting phony loan applications to get some $5 million in mortgages and construction loans. Joe Giudice also pleaded guilty to failing to pay taxes totaling more than $200,000.
After agreeing to the plea bargain, they are now facing some serious jail time.The hearing will take place July 8th.
For Joe, who is an Italian citizen, the guilty plea could also mean deportation. Joe Giudice will serve his 41-month sentence after his wife’s sentence is completed.
