Pedestrian struck, killed in Greenwich

GREENWICH, Conn. (WTNH)– A pedestrian was killed after being struck by a car in Greenwich Tuesday morning.

The 51-year-old woman was stuck and killed by a car after she had just gotten off of a bus and was crossing King Street near Anderson Hill road shortly before 7 a.m. Tuesday morning when it happened.

Police say the driver of the vehicle stopped. The victim was a resident of Elmsford New York and her name has not been released.
