Cosby’s TV wife comes to his defense

(WTNH)– Bill Cosby’s TV wife is speaking out about the sex assault accusations against the comedian and she’s coming to his defense.

Phylicia Rashad, the actress who played Claire Huxtable on “the Cosby Show,” says the accusations are “orchestrated.” She claims that she has never seen the behavior that’s alleged by Cosby’s accusers.

At least 23 women have accused the comedian of offenses, ranging from groping to rape. Cosby will perform for the first time Wednesday night since the accusations in Canada.

He has not been charged.
