Knifewielding suspect nabbed

STAMFORD,Conn(WTNH)-Three months after a convenience store in South Windsor was robbed by a man armed with a knife, police have made an arrest in the case.

Authorities say 32 year old Joseph Dennis of Vernon held up the Oakland Road convenience store in September and made off with several hundred dollars. Dennis and another man, John Papin,  are now accused in the convenience store robbery. Detectives in South Windsor worked with police in other nearby crimes where similar robberies had occurred and they say that information was critical to the arrest of Dennis.

Dennis is now charged with robbery and larceny charges and is being held on a 195 thousand dollar bond.
