Minor injuries reported in Tolland rollover crash

TOLLAND, Conn.. (WTNH) — Tolland police are investigating an accident that flipped a car onto its roof Wednesday afternoon.

Just after 3:30 p.m., officers responded to 452 Crystal Lake Road on the report of a car flipped over. Initial reports said the vehicle occupants may have been trapped. Police called for emergency medical teams and a LifeStar medical transport helicopter.

Emergency responders were able to get the driver out of the vehicle without having to cut into it. Police said the driver had minor injuries. No other injuries were reported.

LifeStar and emergency extrication teams were canceled after the driver was successfully removed from the vehicle. Police are continuing their investigation into the cause of the accident.
