Snow Squalls Move Across Connecticut

As if it hasn’t been cold enough another arctic front moved through the state this afternoon bringing with it a round of snow squalls that briefly brought whiteout conditions and a quick coating of snow to parts of the state along with strong winds.  Here in North Haven we had a period of light snow between 2:45 and 3:15 with bursts of moderate to heavy snow in between.  These snow squalls were the beginning of an even colder air mass with temperatures that could be below zero by Thursday morning.
