Enfield firefighters battle another blaze on Elm Street

ENFIELD, Conn. (WTNH) — Enfield firefighters are investigating yet another fire on Elm Street Friday morning.

Just before 7:30 a.m., fire crews responded to a report of a fire at a building at 364 Elm Street. There have been several fires on Elm Street over the past several months that firefighters believe is the work of a serial arsonist. Fire officials consider the fire to be arson.

There is no word yet on the cause of the fire or if anyone was injured. Video provided by the Enfield Fire Department shows smoke pouring out of the structure as fire crews worked to extinguish the blaze.

News 8 will update this story as new details become available. The Enfield Fire Marshal’s office is still conducting their investigation.
