Norwalk police arrest armed robbery suspect

NORWALK, Conn. (WTNH)– Norwalk police have made a second arrest in November armed robbery.

Police say 25-year-old James Thompson held up the In and Out Variety Store at 178 Main Street on Nov. 25.

The Norwalk man is charged with first-degree robbery, conspiracy to commit first-degree robbery, fifth-degree larceny, and conspiracy to commit fifth-degree larceny.

Thompson’s bond was set at $500,000. The Wilton Avenue man is scheduled to appear in court Jan. 23.

Anyone with additional information about this robbery is asked to call the Norwalk Police Department Detective Bureau at 203-854-3111.
