Slick spots may still be on roadways

(WTNH)– Saturday’s weather made for rough driving conditions.

And with low temperatures, conditions were slick depending on where you went.  Snow was still falling in that part of the state well into the evening. Plows were out there trying to clean up.

Motorists who went out say that while conditions may have presented some challenges, it wasn’t enough to keep them off the road.

“They don’t look too bad, it’s really the snow you got to worry about otherwise the ice hasn’t really formed so far but later on tonight it’s probably going to. Otherwise just stay slow and you should stay safe ,” said Justin Magao, Danielson.

There are still some slippery spots out there this morning, especially on the side roads. So if you’re going out, be careful.
