Bristol police investigate robbery

BRISTOL, Conn. (WTNH)– Bristol police are investigating a robbery at a store Tuesday evening.

Police say a man walked in to the Family Dollar at 59 North Main Street around 6:30 p.m., and implied he had a weapon before stealing a cash register. They say he then fled on foot.

According to police, the suspect is described as a dark-skinned male wearing dark clothes and a ski mask.

Anyone with information about this robbery is asked to call the Bristol Police Department at (860) 584-3000.
