Hartford mayor: Streets should be cleared Tuesday night

HARTFORD, Conn. (WTNH)– Hartford Mayor Pedro Segarra says most of the city’s main streets are clear, and side streets should be done sometime Tuesday night.

“One of the things I want to encourage people to do is, please, stay off the roads, we need to complete the plowing,” said Mayor Segarra. “The parking ban is still in effect and the more that the public cooperates with staying off the roads, the better we’ll be.”

That parking ban will end Tuesday at 8 p.m.

The mayor is pleading with residents not to throw snow back into the roads.
