KFC launches Double Down Dog

(Twitter/KFC Philippines)

(WTNH)– In 2010, KFC introduced the Double Down Sandwich with bacon, cheese, and the Colonel’s sauce between two chicken fillets, no bread. Now, KFC is launching the Double Down Dog.

The new dog is similar to the sandwich, with chicken replacing the bread. That’s right, the Double Down Dog is a hot dog cradled in a chicken fillet.

If you’re looking to try one, don’t expect to anytime soon, if ever. Kentucky Fried Chicken says the Double Down Dog is only available in the Philippines, with no word of it coming to the United States. And if you’re traveling to the Philippines, there’s no guarantee you’ll be able to get one there; each store in the country only has 50 pieces per day.
