WATERFORD, Conn. (WTNH) — Residents who ignored Waterford’s parking ban may discover their car is gone when they head back outside.
Waterford police tell News 8 that cars that are still parked in the street are being towed. Officers are making an effort contact vehicle owners before cars are towed away, but they will enforce the parking ban in place in town.
Town officials said they need the streets cleared to allow plow crews and emergency vehicles to get through.
Waterford police are asking that if you see a neighbor with their car in the roadway that you give them a call to let them know it’s going to be towed if they don’t move it.
