HARTFORD, Conn. (WTNH) – A former Hartford firefighter who police say was driving drunk pleaded guilty on Wednesday to one of the multiple charges he was facing.

Scott resigned from the Hartford Fire Department last week after being arrested for drunk driving in Route 2A in Preston.  Cops say Scott’s vehicle was driving erratically. Police say the 45-year-old has a long history of legal trouble including other drunk driving arrests.

In yesterday’s case Scott was sentenced to a two year sentence, suspended after 120 days and two years probation.

Scott was a 15 year veteran of the department.
