OSHA investigates Farmington fatal facility accident

FARMINGTON, Conn. (WTNH)- OSHA is investigating after a man was killed on the job at Stanely Access Technologies. According to police they went out to the company on Scott Swamp Road in Farmington and medical units treated 65 year old Neil Hynick  of Schofield, Wisconsin for a head injury sustained after a bundle of aluminum being removed from a truck fell on top of Hynick. Hynick was the driver of the truck that contained the bundles of aluminum which were being unloaded at the time of the accident.

The Hynick was transported to John Dempsey Hospital where he later died from the injuries sustained in the accident.  An investigation into the circumstances of the case is on-going and OSHA is the lead investigating agency. Police say there does not appear to be any criminal element to this case.
