(WTNH)– Scientist, Author Ainissa Ramirez gives us The Science Behind Football.

Ramirez is a Scientist raised in New Jersey. Went to school at Brown and got a doctorate in materials engineering at Stanford University. Taught at Yale for ten years as an engineering professor. Created a children’s science show at Yale called Science Saturdays. The host of two science video series, Science Xplained and Materials Marvels. Wrote science behind football book called Newton’s Football (Random House). Gave a TED talk in 2012.
