How Herbs Can Keep You Warm in the Winter

(WTNH)– Master Herbalist & Homeopath Sara-Chana Silverstein shows us how to heat ourselves up from the inside-out with the help of Herbs in this cold weather.

We know in cold weather we need to dress warm, but we can also warm ourselves from the inside out. Ginger is a spice that warms us up which is easy to make and inexpensive. In the summer, you can use peppermint because that is cooling! Herbs either cool the system or warm the system.

When using herbs to warm us we want to use herbs that increase circulation. We tend to sit more and are less active.
