Stratford, Conn. (WTNH)- Stratford police say they have taken three alleged drug dealers off the streets.
Forty-year-old Paul Lee, 59-year-old Gregorio Perez and 32-year-old Jennifer Kelly are accused of selling illegal narcotics in both Bridgeport and Stratford. The arrests are the result of a police department crackdown on the sale of narcotics in town that began last September.
On January 18th, police found more than 124 grams of heroin at an apartment where Lee and Kelly were staying. Ten days later, Perez was arrested at a location in Monroe. Kelly, according to police, later admitted to hiding Perez at that location.
Perez now faces charges that include sales of narcotics within 1,500 feet of a school and conspiracy to sell narcotics. Kelly is accused of possession of narcotics and hindering prosecution. Lee also faces a charge of selling narcotics within 1,500 feet of a school, in addition to conspiracy to sell narcotics and driving with a suspended license.
