(WTNH)– Author, resiliency coach and psychotherapist Dr. Patricia O’Gorman talks about her 9th book: “The Girly Thoughts 10-Day Detox Plan: The Resilient Woman’s Guide to Saying NO to Negative Self-Talk and YES to Personal Power.”

Perhaps no other holiday creates as much tension for you as Valentine’s Day. This is the day of love, of being loved, of receiving gifts, all of which say that all of your hard work is worth it! Or does it?

The problem for all women is their ‘girly thoughts,’ a purposefully annoying name she has given to the internalization of all of the societal shoulds that form a toxic inner soup of self-doubt, affecting women in all parts of their life.

She tells us examples of girly thought and how we can get rid of them in the video.

The Girly Thoughts 10-Day Detox Plan: The Resilient Woman’s Guide to Saying NO to Negative Self-Talk and YES to Personal Power is available in bookstores, online and in selected supermarkets. For more details go to http://www.patriciaogorman.com.
