HAMDEN, Conn (WTNH)– Hamden police are investigating a shoplifting incident at Home Depot.

It happened around 11:00am, according to their investigation, 59-year-old Terry Bowden left the store with nearly $400 worth of stolen merchandise. Bowden attempted to wrestle a Loss Prevention officer at the store.

Moments later, an officer showed up and arrested Bowden who was attempting to flee in a car. He was taken to police headquarters.

Bowden is charged with Robbery and interfering with a police officer among other charges. He also had six warrants for his arrests from other police agencies. He will be in court on March 3rd.
