Hartford PD: Shooting victim grazed in head

HARTFORD, Conn. (WTNH) — Major Crimes Detectives are responding to a shooting in Hartford Wednesday evening.

Hartford Deputy Police Chief Brian Foley says the shooting occurred in the 100 block of Franklin Avenue. He says the victim appears to have been grazed in the head with a bullet. That victim was taken to Hartford Hospital with injuries that are not life-threatening, according to police.

Foley says the shooting may be related to a robbery.
