In the Kitchen: fresh, healthy meals

(WTNH)— Owner Karen Lenahan and Chef Sarah Fitzmaurice from Small Kitchen Big Taste show us how to keep your winter meals bright, seasonal, fresh and healthy!

Winter meals (particularly late winter) can get boring and bland! Using some of the best seasonal items like winter greens (kale), and citrus can turn a boring weeknight salad into a gorgeous healthy feast for the eyes and for the belly. Adding a pesto or sauce to a simple pan roasted chicken breast can completely remake yet another chicken dish!
