HOLLYWOOD, Cali. (WTNH) – The countdown to Hollywood’s most glamorous night is on! The red carpet is now down in front of the Dolby Theater and host Neil Patrick Harris is doing his final preps.
The multi-talented actor, singer, dancer, you-name-it, gave some insight into Sunday night’s big show.
“While I want to be mainstream and make everyone feel comfortable that is watching at home, I want to still have an edge to my comedy that is biting enough to be funny to the people who are relatively jaded in the room,” Harris told KABC
Harris is a proven host with both the Emmy Awards and Tony Awards under his belt, but the Oscars have been on his mind since he was a kid.
“I think everyone watches the Oscars year after year after year,” Harris told KABC. “It leaves a real strong mark. It makes you want to see more movies, it makes you want to become an actor.”
You can watch the Oscars on News 8 this Sunday at 8:30 p.m. Harris promises he’s planned some “unusual” things.
