East Windsor PD: Suspect implied having gun, tried robbing restaurant

EAST WINDSOR, Conn. (WTNH) — A male implying he had a gun tried robbing a Chinese restaurant Friday evening, East Windsor police say.

According to police, the suspect attempted to rob Zheng’s Chinese Restaurant on Main Street around 7:30 p.m.

Police describe the suspect as a thin, white male around 5’10” tall. They say he was wearing a blue sweatshirt, dark pants, a dark hat, gloves, and a dark scarf covered his face.

Anyone with information about this attempted robbery is asked to call the East Windsor Police Department at (860) 292-8240.
