So all these years I have been doing this wrong. For years I have been trying to figure out how to keep from spilling the frosting all over the plate on which I put the cake. I wish I had seen this video. I mean look at this, this is so easy and it makes what you just baked look so professional. I grew up in Indiana so our birthday cakes were always in a 9×13 pan so there was never any need to worry about a cake pedestal, but I changed that up when I moved east because I wanted my kids cakes to look like they had come from a bakery, so any way here you go!
