Man killed, 6 others hurt in Norwich van crash

NORWICH, Conn. (WTNH)– One person is dead after a crash in Norwich, where six other people were injured.

It happened Sunday night on Route 2 near Exit 25.

Police say 37-year-old Matthew Baker of Danielson lost control of his van and it rolled in the median. Baker was thrown from the vehicle and killed.

Six other people, including children were in the van at the time and have minor injuries.

Police are still investigating what caused Baker to lose control of the van.
