Driver killed in Norwich car crash

NORWICH, Conn. (WTNH)– A car crash in Norwich during yesterday’s difficult commute was deadly.

It happened just before 5 p.m. Tuesday evening on Laurel Hill Avenue.

Police say a driver lost control and crossed into the other lane of traffic where it collided with another car.

The driver who lost control was killed, two children in the car and the driver of the other car had minor injuries.

What caused the driver to lose control is still under investigation. No word on his or her name at this point.
