Hartford Man Convicted on Several Drug and Gun Charges

HARTFORD, Conn. (WTNH)-Earlier this week, Rashaud Jones, also known as “Buck” was found guilty of several charges involving drugs and firearms.  The verdict came after a week-long trial before a Federal judge in Hartford.

The trial stemmed from a joint investigation, led by the Drug Enforcement Agency’s Hartford Task Force.  Back in 2012, police pulled over Jones.  They found over $9,000 in cash, three cell phones and other evidence.  That led to a search of Jones’ apartment.  The searched turned up crack, cocaine, and several guns.

Jones was indicted on seven counts in the case.  He was convicted on all of them.
